The new Yonex ASTROX 99 PLAY is the newest racquet in the Astrox range for OFFENSIVE players. It incorporates the improved "Enhanced Rotational Generator System", which distributes weight between the grip end, the top of the frame, and the shaft to achieve smooth transitions and sustained attacking rallies. This weight distribution has been designed taking into account the counterbalance theory, which allows racquets with a head-heavy weight distribution to recover faster between shots.
Thanks to the "Shot Information Connector" system, the racket face remains stable on impact, improving racket feedback.
The ASTROX 99 PLAY uses "Slim Shaft" technology, ensuring low air resistance. Thanks to this system, high racket speed is guaranteed for sequencing shots.
Not forgetting the design inspired by the energy and collision of meteorites with planets, symbolizing overwhelming force. A black and green base, accented with marble textures, evokes weight and strength, while the orange veins that run from the frame to the handle symbolize the transmission of power in strikes.
