The new Yonex ASTROX 99 PRO is the latest racquet in the Astrox range for OFFENSIVE players. It incorporates the improved "Enhanced Rotational Generator System" which distributes weight between the grip end, the top of the frame, and the shaft to achieve smooth transitions and sustained attacking rallies. This weight distribution has been designed based on the counterweight theory, which allows racquets with a head-heavy weight distribution to recover faster between shots.
The new Yonex ASTROX 99 PRO is equipped with the "POWER-ASSIST BUMPER" system. These are tungsten-infused grommets that are seamlessly integrated into the racquet to reduce air resistance and add weight to the upper part of the frame, thus improving power transfer to the shuttlecock.
The handle also features a new, much lighter end cap design, shifting the balance towards the head of the racquet, making the ASTROX 99 PRO the brand's most head-heavy model.
In the PRO and TOUR models, the flexible 2G-Namd™ material has been combined with the lightweight end cap for fast flex, precise power, and a more head-heavy balance. All these innovations together deliver explosive power in every rally.
By combining these technologies with the "Shot Information Connector", the racquet face remains stable on impact, providing a clearer feel and giving players the confidence to generate powerful shots.
The design, inspired by the energy and impact of meteorites colliding with planets, symbolizes overwhelming power.
