The new Astrox 100 Tour VA retains the main features of its predecessor, such as an extra-stiff shaft and head-heavy balance, while adding improvements in materials and a stunning finish, with a color palette that balances soothing earthy tones with green hues, echoing Viktor's down-to-earth lifestyle and his positive, progressive energy.
This new model introduces "NAMD" technology, a graphite reinforced with carbon nanotubes and a special resin, which allows the carbon fibers to bond more uniformly and with greater flexibility.
It also incorporates the "Rotational Generator System" which, thanks to the counterweight theory, allows the frame to adapt to each stroke, improving control and increasing acceleration, resulting in very sharp angles.
The Astrox 100 Tour VA uses the latest 2nd generation of "NANOMESH NEO", which greatly enhances the "Rotational Generator System". Thanks to the counterweight theory, this results in better offensive play with great versatility.
In this racquet, Yonex continues to use the "Aero+Box Frame" for a perfect combination of feel, aerodynamics and performance.
The Astrox 100 Tour VA uses "Super Slim Shaft" technology, which features a shaft with a diameter of only 7 mm, resulting in less air resistance and making it the thinnest shaft ever produced by Yonex.
In this racquet, Yonex incorporates the "Energy Boost CAP PLUS" technology, which allows the shaft to flex without twisting, stabilizing the racquet and thus enhancing control.
Yonex also uses "Volume Cut Resin" technology, which employs a special resin material in the construction of the frame and shaft.
The Astrox 100 Tour VA introduces the new "REXIS Shaft" technology. The racquet's shaft is made with a high-quality resin developed by Yonex (REXIS = “Resin + Excellence”), which improves the elasticity and durability of the graphite.
